POST EVENTS

• Old Mill Trade Days is held the first Friday, Saturday and Sunday of each month. regional in nature, trade days is home to many vendors featuring antiques, arts & crafts, concessions and entertainment.

• Garza Theater is located in the historic downtown theater in Post. this community -type theater presents numerous plays and musicals throughout the year.

• Tabana Yuane began in 1906. This native ceremony is held at sunrise on March 22nd each year at the Post Centennial Park. It is to determine the anticipated rainfall and other conditions for the growing season.

• Celebration in the Park is held every 4th of July and is a community wide celebration with music, games and fireworks.

• Post Stampede Rodeo is held in August of each year and features the athletic talents in numerous events of cowboys and cowgirls.

• Lighted Christmas Parade is a community effort to kick off the Christmas season on Main Street in the Historic District. The entries must be lighted to compliment the lights on Main Street and is a judged parade with cash prizes.

• Cowboy Christmas Ball will be held on December 15, 2007 in the Post Community Center. this year, music will be provided by Rex Thomas and admission is $15 per person. If you are staying at a local hotel/motel for the night, admission is free. 8-12 BYOB

• New Years Eve Party will be held on December 31, 2007 in the Post Community Center. the Klifnotes will provide the music and admission is $15 per person. If you are staying at a local hotel/motel for the night, admission is free. 8-12 BYOB. Party favors and a midnight toast is provided.
